The Opening Tip

- Jared Wilson-Frame added three treys and finished with 11 points for his team-leading 19th double-figure scoring game of the season.
- Pitt was outrebounded 43-22, including an 18-2 edge on the offensive glass. The Panthers were also outscored 34-16 in points in the paint.
- Pitt has started three or more freshmen in a game 19 times, including each of the past 17 contests. Freshmen have combined to make 86 starts as Marcus Carr (24), Khameron Davis (19), Parker Stewart (16), Terrell Brown (14), Shamiel Stevenson (11) and Peace Ilegomah (2) have each made starts this season.

- Pitt freshmen combine to average 37.2 points per game. The group has accounted for 59.2 percent (1004-of-1696) of the team's scoring on the season.
- Parker Stewart has scored in double figures in nine of 14 ACC contests and is averaging 10.7 points per game in league play. He ranks sixth in the ACC in three-point percentage (.416) and is tied for sixth in three-point field goals (2.64 3pg.) in conference play.
- Jared Wilson-Frame is averaging 14.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 made threes per game over the past seven contests. He has scored in double figures in six of the past seven games.
- Terrell Brown leads the Panthers with 36 blocked shots and ranks seventh in the ACC with 1.9 blocks per game in conference play. Steven Adams (2013) was the last Pitt freshman to lead the team in blocks. Brown has recorded two or more blocks in eight of Pitt's 14 ACC contests.
- Jared Wilson-Frame leads the team in scoring at 12.6 points per game and three-point field goals (57). He has scored in double figures 19 times and made three or more three-point field goals in a game 10 times.
- Shamiel Stevenson leads the team in field goal percentage (.509) and has scored in double figures 10 times. Stevenson also leads the team with 122 rebounds on the year.
- Marcus Carr leads Pitt in minutes (789), starts (24), free throw percentage (.840), assists (115) and steals (20). He has scored in double figures 13 times and ranks ninth among ACC freshmen in scoring at 10.5 points per game.
- Parker Stewart is 53-of-132 (.402) from beyond the three-point arc and has made two or more threes in 16 of the past 22 contests. Stewart ranks second among ACC freshmen with 56 three-point field goals.
- Pitt's freshman class has accounted for 67.4 percent (573-of-850) of the team's scoring over the past 14 games. The group has 22 of Pitt's 32 double-figure scoring games in that span.
- The Panthers are shooting 47.5 percent (197-of-415) from the field, 37.1 percent (75-of-202) from three-point range and 72.1 percent (119-of-165) from the foul line in their eight wins.
