• Pitt returns to the Petersen Events Center to host Niagara Monday, Dec. 3. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
• The Panthers are one win shy of matching their win total from a year ago. With a win Monday, Pitt would become the first team in the NCAA to match its win total from 2017-18.
• Nine different players have scored in double figures for Pitt through eight games with freshman Xavier Johnson leading the way with eight double-digit scoring efforts. Johnson is the first Pitt freshman to score in double figures in the first eight games of the season.
• The Panthers have four players averaging double figures in scoring with freshman Xavier Johnson leading the way at 16.0 ppg.
• Five of Pitt's top six scorers are first-year players for the Panthers. Newcomers account for 65.8 percent (416-of-632) of the team's scoring with 23 double-figure scoring games.

• The Panthers have started three freshmen - Xavier Johnson, Trey McGowens and Au'Diese Toney - in each of the first eight games of the season.
