• Pitt returns to action Monday, Nov. 12 with a 7 p.m. tipoff against Troy at the Petersen Events Center in an opening round game of the Barclays Classic.
• The Panthers are coming off a 39-point win over VMI Friday, Nov. 9 as the team shot 63.5 percent (33-of-52) from the field in the contest.
• Six different players have scored in double figures for Pitt through two games with freshmen Xavier Johnson and Au'Diese Toney posting double-digit efforts in both contests.
