Pitt Concludes 2018 Fall Season
GRANVILLE, W.Va. – The University of Pittsburgh baseball team concluded the fall season Friday evening as the Panthers scheduled contest at West Virginia was cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Panthers and Mountaineers were set for a 6 p.m. matchup at Monongalia County Ballpark in Granville, W.Va., but rain in the region forced the game to be called.
Pitt wrapped up the fall season with a 2-0 record, having defeated the Toronto Mets and Youngstown State.
The Panthers' full spring schedule will be announced at a later date as Pitt will resume full team practices in January before the 2019 season gets underway in February.
