Pitt Baseball Announces 2019 ACC Matchups

Pitt to Host Virginia Tech, Miami, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, North Carolina
PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh baseball program announced Wednesday its ACC series for the 2019 campaign.
The Panthers will meet with 10 league opponents in the 2019 season, as Pitt enters its sixth season as a member of the nation's premier collegiate baseball conference. Pitt made a historic run in the 2018 ACC Baseball Championship, taking down Georgia Tech and top-seeded North Carolina to earn a spot in the semifinal round in its debut in the tournament.
Pitt kicks off its ACC schedule March 8-10, traveling to Cary, N.C., for a meeting with perennial powerhouse NC State. The Panthers make their first league appearance at Charles L. Cost Field the following weekend, hosting Virginia Tech March 15-17.
The Panthers hit the road for a series at Virginia March 22-24 before closing out the month of March at home against Miami March 29-31. Pitt will visit Coastal Division rival Duke April 5-7 in Durham, N.C., before back-to-back home ACC series against Wake Forest (April 12-14) and Notre Dame (April 19-21).
Pitt will face a tough stretch in its final three league series, traveling to Tallahassee, Fla., May 3-5 for a meeting with Florida State, returning home to face North Carolina May 10-12 and capping off the regular season May 16-18 in Atlanta against Georgia Tech.
The 2019 ACC Baseball Championship is set for May 21-26 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.
The Panthers will announce a full 2019 slate in the coming weeks. Fans interested in purchasing 2019 season tickets can join the Season Ticket Interest List.
