PITTSBURGH – After earning 10 victories at last year's YSU College Invitational, Pitt track and field return to Youngstown, Ohio, for the 2018 edition at Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) Friday.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
- More than 1,200 competitors from 27 schools will be in action Friday.
- Teams competing at the meet include: Alderson Broaddus, Allegheny, Ashland, Bethany, Charleston (W. Va.), Clarion, Duquesne, Edinboro, Geneva, Malone, Notre Dame (Ohio), Ohio, Ohio Dominican, Pitt-Johnstown, Pittsburgh, Point Park, Robert Morris, Seton Hill, Slippery Rock, Waynesburg, Walsh, West Liberty, West Virginia, West Virginia Wesleyan and Wheeling Jesuit.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- Running events will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 5000m, and will continue with a rolling schedule.
- Field events are set to start at 12:30 p.m., beginning with women's high jump.

LAST TIME OUT
- Thrower Andin Fosam and sprinter Jabari Michael-Khensu each picked up a win to lead 22 Panthers who recorded top-five finishes for Pitt at the Nittany Lion Challenge hosted by Penn State at Ashenfelter III Indoor Track Saturday.
- Fosam, a senior, secured a mark of 19.50m to place first in the women's weight throw. Michael-Khensu championed the men's 300m with a time of 33.91.
- Sophomore Dante Watson placed third in the men's 600m while recording the the No. 2 time for the event in school history at 1:18.74.
LAST YEAR AT THE YSU COLLEGE INVITATIONAL
- At the 2017 edition of the YSU College Invitational, Andin Fosam shattered a facility record and set a personal best mark of 19.88m in the weight throw.
- The Robbinsville, N.J., native's win was one of 10 victories for the Panthers on the day. Her throw broke Jessica Bridenthal's (Ashland) facility record of 19.54m set Jan. 24, 2014.
UP NEXT
- The Panthers will get a preview of the 2018 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships site when they visit Clemson, S.C., for the Bob Pollock Invitational Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26-27.
