Pitt Football Captains Announced at Kickoff Luncheon

PITTSBURGH—The 2017 Pitt Football Kickoff Luncheon was highlighted by the unveiling of this year's football team captains: quarterback Max Browne, wide receiver Jester Weah and defensive backs Avonte Maddox and Dennis Briggs.
Coach Pat Narduzzi and Director of Athletics Heather Lyke and Chancellor Patrick Gallagher each spoke to the crowd at the annual Pitt football season-opening event.

The Panthers open the 2017 season next Saturday against Heinz Field versus Youngstown State at 1 p.m.
Season tickets, mini packages and single-game tickets for the 2017 Pitt football season can be purchased online or by calling (800) 643-PITT (7488).
Groups of 15 or more will save off the individual ticket price with tickets starting at only $15 for specific games. To make group reservations, call the Panthers Ticket Office at (800) 643-PITT (7488).
