Pitt Partners With SIDEARM Sports to Relaunch PittsburghPanthers.com

PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department, in partnership with SIDEARM Sports, unveiled a new and improved PittsburghPanthers.com, the official Pitt Athletics website, at midnight July 1.
"We are extremely excited to partner with SIDEARM Sports for the redesign and relaunch of PittsburghPanthers.com," said Director of Athletics Heather Lyke.
The site features a fresh new responsive design that provides fans a unique user experience, whether operating from a desktop, tablet or mobile device. The new partnership also puts more emphasis on Pitt Athletics digital media with its new "media wall," which integrates videos, photo galleries and Pitt's official Twitter and Instagram accounts. Fans can also customize their user experience and select the content that they wish to see.
Videos and photos are more prominently displayed in the new-look site and statistics buffs will find a more robust display of career, season and individual statistics displays moving forward.
"The fully responsive design provides visitors with a unique user experience," added Assistant Athletic Director of Media Relations Matt Plizga. "The customization options within the site, the new media wall, in-depth statistical packages and infographic capabilities along with the HD video quality are sure to be some of the favorite features of the new site. We look forward to continuing to provide our fans with complete coverage of Pitt Athletics as well as being at the forefront of technological advances in the industry."
SIDEARM Sports is the web provider for over 900 college and high school athletics programs, including ACC opponents Syracuse, Boston College, and NC State.
