Description: This camp is designed for all student-athletes in grades 8-12 who have a serious interest in playing softball at the collegiate level. Attendees will learn specific position fundaments and offense skill work in the morning, before using the knowledge gained during full field situations and live games in the afternoon. Pitching and catching will also be covered in this camp.
2017 Little Panthers Winter Camp
Date: Sunday, Dec. 10
Time: 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. [check-in begins at 12 p.m.]
Location: Charles L. Cost Indoor Sports Center

Who: Girls, Grades 4-8 [50 campers accepted]
Description: This camp is designed for young players who want to develop their skills. We will cover specific position fundamentals and offensive skill work in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Pitching and catching will also be covered.
Players will be divided up into groups as best as possible: by age, experience and positions, where Pitt staff and players will instruct on position specific skills. Then we will work in groups to focus on offensive skills both at the plate and on the bases. Once the fundamentals of offense and defense are covered, we will work to apply those skills into full field situations.
For more information and to register, athletes can visit the camp website online. For questions, please contact assistant coaches Amanda Buchholz at abuchholz@athletics.pitt.edu or Griffin Joiner at gjoiner@athletics.pitt.edu.
All clinics are open to any and all entrants limited only by age, grade level, and/or gender. The operations and activities for these clinics/camps are not owned or operated by the University of Pittsburgh.
