Men’s Soccer Receives Award for Fourth Consecutive Year

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Pittsburgh men's soccer team was recognized for their hard work in the classroom Thursday as the United Soccer Coaches announced the Team Academic Award Winners for the 2016-17 academic year.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the Panthers have earned the honor and the fifth in program history.
Pitt is one of 282 men's collegiate teams to be selected. To view the full list of recipients, click here.
Teams must post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016-17 academic year to be considered.
The Panthers are set to host No. 19 Duke Friday, Oct. 6 at Ambrose Urbanic Field in the Petersen Sports Complex. Tickets for the 7 p.m. ACC match-up are available by clicking here.
