Pitt Women's Basketball Season Tickets Now on Sale

PITTSBURGH -- Season tickets for the upcoming 2016-17 Pitt women's basketball season officially went on sale Tuesday afternoon.
The cost for season tickets is $50 for general admission, $20 for youths (2-17) and seniors (50 and over). Families can also purchase a pack of four tickets for $110, while VIP Courtside seats are priced at $100.
Fans interested in becoming a season ticket holder can purchase tickets online here or by calling the Panther Ticket Office at 800-643-7488.
Admission is free to all University of Pittsburgh students, UPMC and University of Pittsburgh Faculty and Staff with a valid Pitt or UMPC ID.
The complete 2016-17 women's basketball schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Panthers concluded last season 13-18 overall and 4-12 against conference opponents. The young team made history in postseason action, notching its first-ever win in the ACC Tournament after defeating North Carolina in overtime, 82-72. Pitt returns five starters from a year ago, including ACC All-Freshman Team selection Brenna Wise. Wise started all 31 games for the Panthers and led the team in points (10.7) and rebounds (7.6) per game.
