Arrividerchi Milan and Ciao Cinque Terre!
Every part of this trip has been amazing so far but today was much different. We woke up early and got on the bus to start our adventure to Cinque Terre (which means five lands).
After a long three hour bus ride, where some slept most of the way, I woke up and took beautiful pictures of the small towns that we were passing.
We arrived to the train station where we were given the agenda for the day. We all received our train ticket and we were off to Monterosso.
At this point we were set free to experience the five lands on our own. We broke off into groups to start the day off. The hike from Monterosso was not what I was expecting it to be. When the word "hike" was said, it was the true meaning of a hike. The amount of slips, slides, and "please don't dies" that were used were greater than we had anticipated during this hike.
All of the girls met up for lunch once we arrived in Vernazza, before some of us set out for the next hike. The hike from Vernazza to Corniglia was amazing, the agriculture and scenery is one of a kind and absolutely magnificent. Some staff members and girls decided to take the train to the other lands in order to get more of the inland experience rather than the hiking, but we all met up in La Spezia where we took a bus to Pisa and of course took pictures with the Leaning Tower of Pisa and then had a team dinner.
Off to Rome in the morning, ciao for now!
