Pitt Wrestling Announces 2015 Signing Class

PITTSBURGH –University of Pittsburgh head wrestling coach Jason Peters has announced the signing of 14 incoming student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.
The 2015 recruiting class consists of: LJ Bentley (Twinsburg, Ohio/St. Edwards/125/133), TeShan Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills/170), Nathan Hall (Imperial, Pa./West Allegheny/174), Cam Jacobson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Allderdice/165), Tyler Kenney (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville Area HS/125) Robert Lee (Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna/141), Donovan McAfee (Olney, Md./Good Counsel/184), Alex Murray (Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills/149/157), Jacob Parker (Severn, Md./Archbishop Spalding/197), Taleb Rahmani (Marysville, Ohio/Marysville/157/165), Eli Seipel (Saint Paris, Ohio/St. Paris Graham/125), Joe Trovato (Paramus, N.J./Paramus/157), Dominic Vitale (Shickshinny, Pa./Norwestern/Benton/149/157) and Josh Yeboah-Gyasi (Drexel Hills, Pa./Upper Darby/285).
Highlighting the incoming class is:
LJ Bentley
Twinsburg, Ohio/St. Edward/125/133 lbs
High School: A three-time state qualifier and a two-time state place winner…Placed fourth his junior season and moved up to place third his senior season at states…Ranked 20th nationally in the 126 class.
TeShan Campbell
Pittsburgh, PA/Penn Hills/170 lbs
High School: The 170 pounder won the 2015 PIAA State Wrestling Championship…Also was the 2015 WPIAL champion as well as being a two-time county champion…Had an undefeated senior season…A member of the Penn Hills football team as a running back.
Robert Lee
Kaukauna, WI/Kaukauna/141 lbs
High School: Was the WIAA Division 1 individual state champion three times…The first was as a freshman at 113 pounds…Was a state runner-up his sophomore year only to conclude his junior with another state title after a 49-3 season…Was a state finalist all four years at Kaukauna…A part of two state championship teams…Ranked 18 nationally in the 138 class.
Taleb Rahmani
Marysville, Ohio/Marysville/157/165 lbs
High School: Concluded his wrestling career with a state championship after qualifying all four years...Placed fourth as a freshman, seventh as a sophomore and fourth again as a junior…A two-time sectional champion, three-time conference champion and was on the All-Ohio academic team three times.
Eli Seipel
Saint Paris, Ohio/St. Paris Graham/125 lbs
High School: Placed at states all four years…Led the St. Paris Graham Falcons to the 2014-15 National Championship, State Tournament Championship and State Dual Meet Championship…Individually, he was a two-time state champion and three-time section and district champion…Ranked sixth nationally in the 126 pound bracket.
The Panthers finished the 2014-15 campaign with an overall record of 8-8 and sent six individual wrestlers to the NCAA National Championship Meet, highlighted by a national runner-up finish from All-American Tyler Wilps.
