Pitt Concludes Action at AT&T Winter Nationals

AUSTIN, Texas – Jon Lierley placed 19th in the 200 Butterfly and the men’s 4x100 Freestyle team finished 10th to highlight the final day of action at the AT&T Winter Nationals held at the University of Texas.
Lierley swam a season-best time of 1:48.60 and finished third in his heat of the 200 Fly C Finals. The 4x100 team of Lierley, Adam Maczewski, David Sweeney Jr. and Mack Rice placed 10th with a time of 3:05.61.
Sweeney also checked in at 17th in the mile with a time of 15:53.56, while Kelsey Herbst placed 21st in that same event with a time of 16:45.23.
The Panthers will host its Christmas Meet on Dec. 13-16, and then will jump back in dual meet competition on Jan. 12, 2013 as Pitt hosts West Virginia at Trees Pool.
