*Pitt dropped its fourth consecutive game. The last time Pitt lost four straight games was in 1999-2000.
*The loss snapped Pitt’s seven-game win streak in its series vs. DePaul. Pitt dropped to 7-2 all-time vs. DePaul.
*Pitt has now won 24 of its last 34 road games. Over the last 11 seasons, Pitt owns the Big East’s best road record at 52-34.
*Jamie Dixon dropped to 42-14 following a loss over his nine-year career.
*Ashton Gibbs registered his 15th double figure scoring game of the year and 75th of his career. He needs just three more 3-pointers to set the career 3-point field goals made record held by Jason Matthews (259 from 1987-91). Gibbs now has hit 257 career 3-pointers.
*Talib Zanna led Pitt with a career-high 16 points. He converted a career-high 8-8 field goals in 24 minutes in his first start since the 2010-11 season. Zanna also finished with seven total rebounds in the contest.
*With 10 points and a team-leading nine rebounds, Lamar Patterson totaled his seventh double figure scoring game of the year and ninth of his career. Patterson also surpassed a career-high for field goal attempts (13).
*John Johnson made his first career start and played a career-high 28 minutes. He finished with 10 points, his second career double figure scoring game.
*Nasir Robinson finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. The contest marks his 10th double figure scoring game of the year and 31st of his career.
