Softball Announces The Dates For Two Summer Camps

PITTSBURGH--Pitt's Head Softball Coach Holly Aprile has announced that the University of Pittsburgh will host two three-day summer camps this July, one focusing on offense and the other covering all general skills.
The first session will take place from July 18-20 at Vartabedian Field at the Petersen Sports Complex. Players and coaches will teach participants different techniques at the plate and on running the bases. The camp is open to girls entering grades 6-12.
The second camp will be held from July 25-27 at Vartabedian Field. Attendees will be able to concentrate on their specific defensive positions as well as learning about hitting and base running. Pitt coaches and players will cover every position in-depth. Girls entering grades 9-12 are eligible.
