Pitt (15-11, 4-9 Big East) won its third consecutive Big East game against Seton Hall (9-17, 1-12 Big East) in the 46th game between the two teams. With the win, the Panthers have won their last seven home games against the Pirates, and improve to 25-21 in the series.

Cole tallied her fifth double-double of the year, scoring 10 points and pulling down a career-high 22 boards. Harrison dropped 20 points and tied a career-high with three steals.
The Panthers never trailed in the game after opening with a 12-0 run. SHU closed to within six at 14-8 on a jumper by Ebonie Williams, but the Panthers responded with a 9-1 run to go up 14 at 23-9, their largest lead in the first half.
After trading baskets late in the half, the Pirates were within five with 3:38 to go before a Sims jumper and a Scott three-pointer stretched the Panthers’ lead back to double digits at 34-24.
Seton Hall cut the lead down to 13 at 63-50 with just over six minutes left in the second half when Terry Green hit an open three-pointer. Green finished with 14 points on the afternoon, tying teammate Williams for the team lead.
