Panthers Weekend in North Carolina Rained Out

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh’s baseball team has cancelled its weekend trip to North Carolina, where they were scheduled to play a three-game series with the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Inclement weather forced the cancellation, with each team slated to depart today, Friday, Feb. 27 for a Saturday doubleheader and a Sunday single game. No makeup date has been scheduled between the teams.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th against Ohio University. Game time is set for 4 p.m. in Athens, Ohio.
