Pitt Volleyball Match Slated To Air On CSTV

NEW YORK, N.Y. - CSTV released its "AVCA Match of the Week" television schedule for the upcoming 2007 season and the Pitt women's volleyball team will be featured in one contest out of its 25-match slate.
CSTV will televise Pitt's 2 p.m. contest on Saturday, Sept. 22, against Notre Dame at the Fitzgerald Field House on a tape delayed basis. The match will broadcast at 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24.
"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to host a CSTV match at the University of Pittsburgh," Pitt Head Volleyball Coach Chris Beerman said. "CSTV as been an outstanding supporter of women's college volleyball and we look forward to showcasing the very competitive Big East Conference."
The `AVCA Match of the Week' debuts on Friday, Aug. 24. The broadcast crew will include Jason Knapp handling the play-by-play duties, while veteran Anne Marie Anderson will serve as the lead analyst throughout the season. Other analyst for select matches includes Olympic Bronze Medalist Holly McPeak and Tammy Blackburn.
