PITT BASEBALL RESUMES BIG EAST PLAY SATURDAY AT GEORGETOWN

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Pitt baseball team (20-20, 11-6 Big East) will resume play in the Big East Saturday in a doubleheader at Georgetown (17-28, 5-13 Big East) and will conclude the three-game series Sunday at Shirley Povich Field.
Saturday's doubleheader is set to begin at 4 p.m. while Sunday's contest will begin at 1 p.m. Last season, Pitt won the series 2-1 with the games played in Pittsburgh.
The Hoyas are currently sitting in last place in the Big East standings while the Panthers are fourth with an 11-6 record. Pitt is expected to pitch Rob Brant (JR/Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield), Paul Nardozzi (SR/Victor, N.Y./Victor) and Nate Reed (FR/Reading, Pa./Oley Valley).
