Hellon and Connor Tally Homers In Win

With the score tied through six innings, Hellon (
Hellon led the way for the Panthers as she was 2-for-4 with three runs and a RBI.
On the mound, freshman Kayla Zinger (Phoenix, Ariz./Sunnyslope) earned her second win of the season. Zinger entered the game tied in the fifth inning with a held the College of Charleston to three hits, while fanning four batters.
Zinger caught the first two batters swinging in the bottom of the seventh and got the third batter to pop up, securing the win for Pitt.
Senior Laura Belardinelli (Endicott, N.Y./Union-Endicott) struck out two batters and gave up seven hits in the game.
