INDIANOLA, Pa.-- Justin Boehm, Connor Malone and Shawn Wildman all recorded their first career goal as the Pitt men's soccer team defeated rival Duquesne 3-1 Wednesday night at Founders Field.

In the 20th minute, Matt Baker (Bethlehem, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) directed a cross to Boehm (South Park, Pa./South Park) who headed the ball into the Dukes goal, putting Pitt up 1-0.

The Panthers' second goal came minutes before halftime when Malone (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) headed Ryan Brode's (Setauket, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) corner kick into the net, putting Pitt up 2-0 at the half.

At the half, the Panthers defense had limited Duquesne to only four shots with two on goal.

The score remained 2-0 until the 62nd minute, when Wildman (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson), assisted by E.J. McCormick (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel), scored on a 25-yard shot over the head of the Dukes goalie.
