Softball Doubleheader at Robert Morris Cancelled

PITTSBURGH?The softball doubleheader at Robert Morris, scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, at 2 p.m., has been cancelled due to inclement weather. It is Pittsburgh's second cancellation in a week as overnight rain made the field conditions unplayable.
Pittsburgh will be back in action on Thursday, March 31, at Youngstown State. The Panthers and Penguins will begin play at 2 p.m. The Panthers will then open Big East play with road doubleheaders at Villanova and Rutgers before returning for their home opener on April 7 against St. Francis (Pa.)
The Panthers are 11-14 in 2005 and have won five of their past six games, including a 4-1 mark and second-place finish at this past weekend's JMU Dukes Invitational.
