PITTSBURGH?The University of Pittsburgh baseball team split its Saturday afternoon doubleheader with Boston College with the Panthers winning the first game 9-4 in seven innings and the Eagles taking the second 4-2 in 10 innings.
Freshman second baseman Jim Negrych (
Senior catcher Alex Rybczak (Chili, NY/Monroe CC) belted his first homerun of the season in the second inning off Lambert?s first offering. Rybczak finished the game 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
