The drama wasn?t over, though, as the Panthers plated two runs in the top of the ninth inning to force a 7-7 tie on a two-run error by Tucker. It didn?t take the Golden Flashes long in the bottom of the inning as Kinyon led off with a solo shot to right center field, giving them the season split in the series.
Ben Copeland led the Panthers with four hits, including a double and triple. He also added three stolen bases and knocked in two runs while scoring twice as well. Alex Rybczak and David Cline each collected two hits and Tom Cashman delivered his seventh home run of the season.
