Missouri remained in first place but built its lead to a commanding 354.5 points over the second-place Panthers. Miami is in third place with 563 points and Ohio State is in fourth with 334.5 points.
In Saturday's finals action, Missouri won four of the eight events, with Pittsburgh and Miami each taking two apiece.
The first women's final on Saturday night was the 200 yard medley relay in which Pittsburgh's 'A' team topped two Missouri teams to earn the 40 points. Carolyne Savini (Egg Harbour Twp., N.J./Holy Spirit), Ryan Redman (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills), Kelli Tielking (Damascus, Md./Damascus) and Jenny Livingstone (Endwell, N.Y./Union-Endicott) won the event with a time of 1:43.96, 1.26 seconds faster than Sarah Lo, Mariona Costa, Becca Dawson and Andrea Nigh of the Tigers.
In the 400 individual medley, Missouri got a victory from Rebecca Wolfe when she beat out Miami's Elaine Schwartz by just one-hundredth of a second. It was a dead heat until the last length, when Wolfe edged ahead at the last stroke. She won it with a time of 4:26.37. Pittsburgh's top finisher was Lacey Hlavka (Fairfax Station, Va./Hayfield) with a time of 4:35.66, good enough for fifth place.
Dawson got the 100 butterfly victory when she swam it in 56.65 seconds in the finals. She beat the Panthers' Tielking by 0.73 seconds and her teammate Belinda Wood by just over a second.
The Hurricanes got 20 needed points from Manon Van Rooijen in the 200 freestyle when she beat out Missouri's Katy Chandler for first place in the finals, with times of 1:51.10 and 1:51.78, respectively. Junior Emily Colley (Pace, Fla./Pace) was the Panthers' top finisher in fifth place, 2.95 seconds back.
Redman, a sophomore, could not set her second consecutive school record in the 100 breaststroke but was just four hundredths of a second slower and she beat Costa by 0.41 seconds for first place in the finals. Both times were b-cut qualifying marks for the NCAA tournament.
Lo was the top swimmer in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.23 seconds, which was 1.15 seconds faster than Savini, who had swam her career best in the prelims on Saturday morning.
Miami got another victory in the 3-meter diving competition, when Melanie Rinaldi beat out Pittsburgh's tandem of Jen O'Brien (Verona, Pa./Penn Hills) and Moreen O'Brien (Springfield, Ill./Springfield) with 549.85 points.

Pittsburgh finished in third with the team of Lisa Sappey (Martinsburg, W.Va./Hedgesville), Colley, Emily Kaszycki (Greensburg, Pa./Greater Latrobe) and Savini (7:38.27).
