He was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Major Gifts in October of 2017. In May of 2021, he was elevated to Senior Associate Athletics Director of Development, Major Gifts.
Bostick oversees the Pitt Athletics Major Gifts Team, including three full-time major gift officers. Together, the team works to identify, cultivate and secure six and seven-figure gift commitments in support of Pitt Athletics, its Victory Heights capital campaign and more than 500 student-athletes. Bostick personally manages a portfolio of nearly 100 generous donors and major gift prospects.
In addition to his fundraising and administrative work, Bostick has served as color analyst for Pitt Football broadcasts alongside the legendary Bill Hillgrove for the past nine seasons. He is a frequent local radio and television guest, appearing most commonly on Pitt's flagship radio station, 93.7 The Fan, during football season.
Bostick was a three-year football letterman at Pitt (2007-08, 2010), quarterbacking the Panthers to such memorable victories as their 13-9 upset of West Virginia in 2007 and 36-33 quadruple-overtime win at Notre Dame in 2008. He is an honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning two degrees during his time as a student-athlete at Pitt. He completed his Master of Studies in Law degree in Pitt’s School of Law in May of 2021.
Bostick and his wife, Samantha, live in Mt. Lebanon with their two sons, Trey and Rhys.
