Rachel Bilenki joined the University of Pittsburgh athletics department in September of 2025 as an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications, serving as the primary contact for women’s soccer, swimming & diving and women’s lacrosse. She also serves as the secondary contact for women’s basketball.
Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, Rachel spent two years as the Assistant Director of Communications and Creative Content at College of Charleston. While in South Carolina, she served as the primary contact for five sports and she managed the social media accounts for each of her programs (M/W Soccer, Women’s Basketball, M/W Tennis), including creation of unique graphics that has expanded brand recognition throughout each platform.
Prior to joining the Cougars, she worked as an Account Executive with the North Carolina Courage. Also during her time in Raleigh, Bilenki worked with NC State athletics, assisting in ticket operations and communications. While in school, she interned for Shaw University athletic communications, assisting in game notes and website management for football and women's soccer.
Bilenki is a 2021 graduate of NC State with a degree in Sport Management. She later earned a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Louisville in 2023. She resides in Pittsburgh with her cat, Winnie.
