Meghann Lassi returned to her alma mater and joined the Pitt athletic training staff in June of 2023. She is entering her first season as the Pitt women's basketball athletic trainer.

Lassi spent the previous five seasons at the University at Buffalo working with the Bulls women's basketball program. During her time in Buffalo, the women's basketball team secured two MAC Tournament Championships and advanced to two NCAA Tournaments, collecting a victory over Rutgers during the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

Prior to Buffalo, Lassi served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Mississippi for one season. During her time in Oxford, she worked with men's and women's golf as well as men's and women's basketball.

Lassi graduated with her bachelor’s in athletic training in 2015 and her master’s in sports medicine in 2017 from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, Lassi worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Panthers' men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs for two seasons.
