Kyra Pittman joined the softball coaching staff in September 2026 after being a member of the Panthers' pitching staff from 2024-26.
Pittman totaled 323.2 innings pitched, 24 wins, three shutouts, two saves and 17 complete games in 61 starts and 91 appearances.
She was named ACC Pitcher of the Week on March 17, 2026 after playing a pivotal role in Pitt's series win over NC State. She earned wins in both appearances, including a complete-game performance in which she allowed just one run on three hits with a career-high six strikeouts and one walk. Pittman also earned the start in Pitt's ACC Tournament game against host Virginia in 2026, delivering 6.0 innings while facing just 23 batters and allowing two runs on four hits with three strikeouts and one walk.
Prior to joining the Panthers, Pittman played two seasons at Maryland.
