Kira Neszpaul joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics in January of 2020 as the Facilities and Event Operations Administrative Assistant. In February 2022, Neszpaul was promoted to Assistant Director of Event Management and Camps before taking her current role as Director of Executive Operations in June of 2024.
Prior to joining Pitt Athletics, Neszpaul worked at Carnegie Mellon University for various departments, and for Manchester Bidwell at the Drew Mathieson Center. She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in marketing. In May 2024 Neszpaul graduated with a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

What do you love most about the University of Pittsburgh?
I love the diversity and the atmosphere of being around so many different people.
What do you love most about working in athletics?
I love the ever-changing environment. You never know what is going to come up that day and you have to make sure you are ready for anything. There are also so many great people who are passionate about what they do. It inspires me to grow in my career and learn as much as I can from them.
What is your favorite thing to do in the city of Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh is a great city to do different things. There is always something to do like exploring a new neighborhood or going to a new museum exhibit or a Broadway show. I also love to go to any sporting event!
