Jared Mascioli joined Pitt Athletics as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts for the Panther Club in September 2026.
In his role, Mascioli supports major gifts operations, identifies and cultivates new major gift prospects, and supports The Panther Club's broader fundraising and donor stewardship efforts.
From 2025-2026, Mascioli started as a Development Assistant and was then promoted to Engagement Officer for the Spartan Athletic Foundation at Michigan State University. During his tenure, he helped generate more than $200,000 in major-gift support for Athletics, identified 65 qualified major-gift prospects, and contributed to annual giving and stewardship initiatives.
Prior to Michigan State, Mascioli served as an Account Executive with Virginia Tech Athletics, where he generated more than $1.2 million in revenue through ticket sales, corporate packages, group tickets and Hokie Scholarship Fund contributions. He also developed new business through prospecting, customer outreach and networking.
Mascioli earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of Tennessee in 2023. While a student, he interned with the Tennessee Fund. He went on to earn a Master of Education in Executive Sport Management from West Virginia University in 2025.
