Jacob Floyd enters his second season as an offensive assistant for Pitt football.
Floyd joined the Panthers after serving as the running backs and tight ends coach at Sewanee, the University of the South during the 2023 season.
A 2022 graduate of Western Carolina, Floyd was a three-year student assistant for the Catamounts’ football program. He proved to be an invaluable and instrumental figure, serving the coaching staff in the areas of daily operations, scouting and recruiting.
Floyd earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina in sport and fitness administration/management.
