Charles Gatewood joined Pitt as the Director of Creative Content for the men’s basketball program in June of 2024. He is charged with developing compelling social media content across various platforms as well as helping build a comprehensive social media strategy, messaging and branding for the program.

Gatewwod is familiar with the Panther program after serving as a student intern with the creative content team for three seasons as an undergraduate. He also worked as a videographer/photographer with Slam Magazine, Duke Men’s Basketball, MADE Hoops, Gatorade, and Jordan Brand over the past five years.

Gatewood graduated from Pitt in December of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in media and professional communications.
