Brendan McKnight joined the University of Pittsburgh's athletic department in October 2024 as a Fan Service Coordinator, where he acts as a primary liaison for his client base and collaborates closely with the Sales and Operations teams of the ticket office.
Graduating from Point Park University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management, McKnight was heavily involved on campus. He was a part of numerous clubs and his university’s track team. As a student, McKnight gained hands-on experience working with organizations such as the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also represented Point Park at the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship in Atlanta his senior year.
Prior to his current role, McKnight served as a Brand Manager with the Pittsburgh Magazine and a Sales and Consulting Agent with a local real estate company.
Originally from Lower Burrell PA, McKnight currently resides in the South Side.

What is your favorite thing to do in the city of Pittsburgh?
Walk around the Strip District on Sundays and try new food.
What is your favorite aspect of working in Pitt’s athletic department?
Coming to work each day being surrounded by my coworkers and creating lifetime memories for fans.
