Breanna Schroth joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in August of 2023 as the Director of Panther Club Marketing and Communications. In this role, Schroth executed all communication efforts for the Panther Club and delivered marketing collateral for use within the athletic department to maximize fundraising to the Panther Club on behalf of Pitt Athletics.
Schroth was promoted to Assistant AD of Panther Club Operations and Communications in June 2024, leading the annual fund operations team and overseeing marketing and communications, data management, annual fund benefit fulfillment, and gift processing for the Panther Club.
Most recently, Schroth was named Assistant AD of Strategic Engagement, transitioning into a newly created leadership role within Pitt Athletics' Strategic Engagement Unit. In this position, she oversees all digital revenue strategy, marketing automation, and outward-facing digital efforts across the department. Schroth serves as Pitt's primary digital revenue strategist, leading the planning and execution of email marketing, CRM and fan engagement journeys, paid digital advertising, and web and mobile app revenue integration.
Prior to joining the Panther Club, Schroth began her career in Athletics Development at the University of New Mexico, where she was quickly promoted to Director of Development, Annual Giving. In that role, she oversaw the Lobo Club's annual giving fundraising, communications, and special events. Her passion and efforts drove significant revenue growth over two years, exceeding special event goals each year. Schroth also led the Lobo Club's digital and marketing strategy, establishing strong brand awareness and a robust social media presence for the fundraising department.
A native of Leesburg, Virginia, Schroth earned her Bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University.
