Breanna Schroth joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in August of 2023 as the Director of Panther Club Marketing and Communications. In this role, Schroth executes all communication efforts for the Panther Club and delivers marketing collateral for use within the athletic department to maximize fundraising to the Panther Club on behalf of Pitt Athletics. Schroth was promoted to Assistant AD of Panther Club Operations and Communications in June 2024. She leads the annual fund operations team, overseeing marketing and communications, data management, annual fund benefit fulfillment, and gift processing, for the Panther Club.
Prior to joining the Panther Club, Schroth started her career in Athletics Development at the University of New Mexico. She was quickly promoted, moving to serve as the director of development, annual giving, overseeing the Lobo Club’s annual giving fundraising, communications, and special events. Schroth’s passion and efforts led to significant revenue growth in her two years, exceeding goals for special events by 40% each year. Schroth also led the Lobo Club’s digital and marketing strategy, establishing brand awareness and a strong social media presence for the fundraising department.
A native of Leesburg, Virginia, Schroth earned her Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
