Avery Sloan serves as Assistant Director of Football Creative Content, where he assists in the creation and execution of digital content, video storytelling and visual media initiatives that support the football program’s recruiting, branding and fan engagement efforts.
A recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Sloan joined the Panthers’ full-time staff in 2026 after spending four years working with Pitt Athletics in a variety of creative internship roles. As a Pitt Football videographer, he helped produce content for social media, recruiting campaigns and game day productions. He also worked with Pitt Men’s Basketball, creating video content and promotional features designed to enhance the program’s digital presence.
Prior to joining the creative content staff, Sloan spent nearly two years as a football video assistant, supporting the Panthers’ video operations and assisting with practice and game film management.
Sloan earned bachelor’s degrees in film and media studies and communications from the University of Pittsburgh in 2026.
