Angela Hunter re-joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in August 2017 as the coordinator of ticket operations, serving as the primary ticketing reference for the women’s basketball and men’s soccer teams. In her current capacity, Hunter serves as the Director of Ticket Operations for the Panthers’ football and softball programs.
During her tenure, Hunter has served as Pitt’s primary football ticketing contact for the 2021 ACC Championship Game, 2021 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and the 2022 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. She was Pitt’s primary ticket liaison for men’s soccer’s historic run to the NCAA 2020-21 College Cup.
Hunter has also previously served as Pitt’s chief ticketing liaison for the Big East Basketball Championship and NCAA Basketball Tournament.
Hunter has a wealth of previous high-profile ticketing experience, including serving as Box Office Supervisor for PPG Paints Arena and AEG. She was responsible for generating daily sales reports for all non-hockey events, building events on Ticketmaster, processing ticket orders, handling customer service issues, and preparing will-call orders for events.
During her initial Pitt tenure, Hunter spent 15 years as a Box Office Manager and Supervisor. In that capacity, she was responsible for training employees, allocating seats for season ticket holders, preparing invoices for football and men’s basketball, and traveling with select teams to handle ticket-related duties.
Her career began as a Ticket Center Coordinator for Ticketmaster, where she was responsible for coordinating the daily operations and ticket outlet sales, training sellers, and distributing ticket stock to various outlets.
A graduate of Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Sport Management, Hunter began her involvement in athletics as a Box Office Processor for the Pittsburgh Pirates. She also completed her Associate Degree as a Paralegal.
A Pittsburgh native, Hunter and her husband, Chris, have two daughters, Caroline and Maria.

Favorite sports moment at Pitt?
The final game at Pitt Stadium took place on November 13, 1999, when the Panthers defeated Notre Dame 37–27.

Aside from attending events (sporting, concerts or plays/musicals) visiting the different communities, because Pittsburgh is so rich with a of cultural and restaurants to enjoy.
