Allison Rubin joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics in early 2019 and currently serves as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Donor Experience, a role she has held since 2021. In this position, Rubin leads the strategy and execution of signature events and engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships with donors and alumni across the Pitt Athletics community.
She oversees marquee experiences such as the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame and events for members of The Script Society, and works closely with football and other programs to develop high-impact engagement opportunities for donors and alumni.
Prior to Pitt, Rubin served as Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations at her alma mater, Providence College, where she led stewardship programs and donor events supporting major milestones, including the opening of the Ruane Friar Development Center, the men’s basketball practice facility, and the Ryan Center for Business Studies. She also previously held advancement leadership roles at Loyola University Maryland, where she managed more than 75 events annually, supported the public launch of the University’s $100 million comprehensive campaign, and oversaw donor engagement for the opening of the Ridley Athletic Complex.
A Queens, N.Y. native, Rubin has also held roles within the athletics departments at St. John’s University and Georgetown University. She is active nationally with the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD), regularly serving as a speaker at the NACDA Annual Convention and leading a national networking and idea-sharing community for athletics events and stewardship professionals with more than 125 members.
