2018-19 (149): Went 10-11 on the season including a 3-4 record at tournaments and a 7-7 record at duals… Recorded a major decision victory over Kent State’s Jake Hinkson and a pin at 6:50 over Cleveland State’s Brady Barnett at the Clarion Open… had a top 25 victory with a 6-2 decision over number 17 Henry Pohlmeyer of South Dakota State.
2017-18: Went 8-12 overall on the season including a 4-8 mark in duals … Competed in the ACC Championship … Placed first at EMU Open after going 3-0 with a decision, major decision and pin … Earned pin in 4:19 against Navy’s Corey Wilding at EMU Open … Picked up 12-0 major decision over NIU’s Zack Velasquez at EMU Open … Recorded 9-0 major decision against Brandon Leynaud at Duke dual.
2016-17: Went 0-2 at the 2017 ACC Championship at 149 pounds – the only time he wrestled at that weight all season … Pinned John Reed of VMI in 1:07 … Picked up a win by major decision, 14-1, at the Virginia Tech dual over Brendan Ryan … Recorded three straight pins at the Purple Raider Open including one in :30 over Chris Weiss of Mercyhurst … Placed fourth at the Keystone Classic after finishing 4-2 … In his first match of the season, dropped a 3-0 decision to then-ranked No. 5 Randy Cruz in the Lehigh dual.
2015-16: Beat Clarion’s Brodie Zacherl by a 5-2 decision … Went 2-1 at Pitt Duals, winning both matches by decision … Finished 3-2 in both the Lock Haven and Keystone Classic events … Finished the Terrapin Duals 2-1 after pinning David Migliaccio (Kutztown) in 3:55 and Anthony Craig (West Liberty) in 2:28.
High School: Three-time WIAA Division 1 individual state champion … Broke the most-winning record after compiling a 182-17 record … Four-time conference champion … Was a state runner-up as a sophomore, only to conclude his junior with another state title after a 49-3 season … Was a state finalist all four years at Kaukauna … Led team to two state championships … Ranked 18 nationally in the 138 class.
