2023 Outdoor: Competed in two outdoor meets for the Panthers. Rusinski’s best placement of the outdoor season came in the 3000 event at the UCF Black and Gold Invite where she placed fourth with a time of 10:16.50.
2022-23 Indoor: Competed in three indoor meets for the Panthers. Rusinski set personal bests twice in the indoor campaign. Her first record break came at Lenny Lyles Invitational Indoor as she placed fifth in the 5000 at 17:14.99. Next, she broke her 3000 record at the Tiger Paw Invite by finishing ninth with a time of 10:00.99.
2022 Outdoor: Appeared at the WVU Stan Romanoksi Open (Mar. 18-19) and placed 2nd (10:23.43) in the 3000 and 7th in the 4x400 with a time of 4:45.65.
2021-2022 Indoor: Competed in two meets during her freshman season… Ran her career best time in the 3000m at the Razorback Invitational (Jan. 29), placing fifth with a 10.07.33… Finished in third with a time of 10.12.88 in the 3000m at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 15).
High School: Ran track for head coach Craig Chasse at James Madison High School... was a two-year team captain... posted personal record times of 5:33 (1600m) and 11:17 (3200m)... was named to the Athletic Honor Roll in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Personal: Born March 7, 2002... daughter of Kathy and Ken Rusinski... has one sister, Christina... her hobbies include hiking and exploring new places... lists her favorite athletes as Caleb Dressel and Alexi Pappas... her favorite movies are Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Miracle... plans on majoring in supply chain management.
