- Emerged as a team leader during his junior campaign
- Competed regularly in dual meets in freestyle and butterfly events
- Posted four individual top times
- Placed second in the 100 Fly against Ohio State
- Scored for the Panthers again at the ACC Championships
- ACCs: 23rd in the 1,650 Free, 31st in the 200 Fly, 40th in the 500 Free
- Continued to progress during his sophomore season
- Raced in seven separate events as a regular competitor for the Panthers
- Won the 500 Free in the dual at Denison
- Also triumphed in the 1,000 Free at the Western PA Invite
