2016-17 Season
- Pitt’s top freestyle sprinter and a cornerstone on relays
- Consistent dual meet scorer throughout the regular season
- Finished the year at the ACC Championships (Feb. 13-16)
- Placed 26th in the 50 free and 30th in the 100 free and 100 back
- Also contributed on four of Pitt’s relay teams at ACCs
- Helped the 200 free relay set a school record of 1:30.81 to take ninth
- Continued to develop as Pitt’s top freestyle sprinter
- Won numerous titles in the 50 and 100 free throughout the season
- Set a Pitt school record in the 100 free of 49.50 in the Pitt Invite
- Wrapped up the year at the ACC Championships
- Scored by placing 16th in the 50 free with a Pitt-record time of 22.68
- Earned 27th in the 100 back and 28th in the 100 free
- Also featured on several of the Panthers’ relay units at the conference meet
- Proved to be a fantastic freshman sprinter for the Panthers
- Regular top-five finisher throughout the dual meet campaign
- Posted several Pitt freshman records in her preferred sprinting events
- Competed at her first ACC Championships
- Finished the season at the ECAC Championships
- Advanced to the championship final in the 50 free, placing fifth
- Also took ninth in the 100 free and 100 back at the ECAC meet
- Swam at Shawnee High School
- U.S. Junior National Qualifier
- As a freshman, won the 50 free (24.07), 100 free (52.34) and swam a school-record leg on the 400 free relay at the district meet
- Later at the OHSAA Division II state meet, placed fifth in the 50 free, eighth in the 200 free relay and 15th in the 400 free relay, helping Shawnee finish 18th
- Earned Swimmer of the Year from the Lima Area Swim Coaches Association for the first time in 2011-12 as a sophomore
- During her senior season, was the state champion of Ohio at the Division II level in the 50 free, placed third at the event in the 100 free and was on the 14th place 400 free relay team and 16th place 200 free relay team, helping Shawnee to 16th place
- At districts that same year, she was fourth in the 50 free and seventh in the 100 free and also was the WBL champion in both the 50 free (23.94) and 100 free (53.32), setting WBL records in the process
- For her efforts, she was named the girls Swimmer of the Year by the Lima Area Swim Coaches Association
- Was rated seventh by CollegeSwimming in Ohio

- Daughter of David and Gina Murphy

- Father, David, played football and baseball at Juniata College and spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers
