High School

State Champion in the 100 Breaststroke his senior year, with a time of 53.58 setting the CO state record and helping lead to a 5A team victory.
Hobson has competed in the Speedo Junior Nationals, placing 33rd in the 100 Free (LCM) with a time of 51.70. At the Junior Championships, Hobson also finished 41st in the 50 Free (23.70), 43rd in the 100 M Breast (1:03.93) and 57th in the 100 M Fly (55.87).
