2019-20 Season

Saved his best for last during a superb senior season at Pitt
Won event titles on nine occasions during the campaign for the Panthers
His victories came across four events, highlights his incredible versatility
Scored in all three individual events again at the ACC Championships
Advanced to his first championship final at the conference meet
ACCs: 7th in the 400 IM, 15th in the 200 IM, 19th in the 200 Fly
Boosted Pitt’s 800 Free, 400 Medley and 400 Free Relays
Broke the Pitt school record in the 200 Free during one of his relay swims
Helped the Panthers post team records in points and overall finish at the ACC meet
Earned a place on the ACC Academic Honor Roll
Named to the All-ACC Academic Team as well, the conference’s top honor

2018-19 Season

Produced his best season at Pitt during a stellar junior campaign
Won eight individual events for the Panthers in dual meets and invitationals
Took first in the 200 Free and 200 Fly in the Backyard Brawl against West Virginia
Qualified for consolation finals in each of his individual events at the ACC Championships
ACCs: 10th in the 200 Fly, 12th in the 200 IM, 12th in the 400 IM
Helped Pitt’s 400 Free and 800 Free Relays post school records in Greensboro as well
Was busy competing internationally throughout the summer of 2019
Won his first South African national championship in the 200-meter Individual Medley
Earned a spot on the South African national team for 2019’s premier international meets
Represented South Africa at the World Championships in the South Korea and the World University Games in Italy

2017-18 Season

Competed in eight events during his sophomore season for the Panthers
Vital contributor to Pitt’s efforts throughout the dual-meet schedule
Qualified for a consolation final in his second ACC Championships
ACCs: 16th in the 200 Fly, 28th in the 200 Free, 39th in the 200 IM
Also helped Pitt’s 800 Free Relay set a school record at the conference meet
Represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Games in Australia in April 2018

2016-17 Season

Arrived in Pittsburgh at midseason and adapted to collegiate swimming with ease
Won the 100 Fly and 200 IM in his debut against West Virginia
Took first multiple times in other regular season meets
Cemented his status as one of Pitt’s top swimmers in his ACC Championships debut
ACCs: 10th in the 200 Fly, 18th in the 200 Free, 37th in the 200 IM
Also contributed on the maximum four Pitt relay squads

An international addition who joined Pitt in January 2017 as a freshman
