- Four-year varsity letter winner at Ann Arbor Huron
- Led Huron to three conference titles and an 86-17 record (47-5 in conference play) over four seasons, while scoring 1,582 points to set a school career scoring record previously held by Syracuse standout and 1983 NBA Draft selection Erich Santifer
