2018: Joined Pitt as a graduate transfer from Kent State and immediately earned a starting role on the offensive line…started all 14 games at left tackle and was selected All-ACC (second team)…displayed his athleticism when he scored a six-yard touchdown on a designed throwback lateral in the Panthers’ 34-13 win at Wake Forest.
AT KENT STATE (2014-17): A starter on the offensive line his final two seasons at Kent State…played in 35 career games, making 30 starts for the Golden Flashes…made 27 consecutive starts from 2015-17…started all 12 contests at left tackle in 2017…also started all 12 games in 2016, making eight starts at center and four at right tackle…in 2015, his first active collegiate season, played in 11 games with six starts (four at center and two at left tackle).
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a standout two-way lineman at Perry High School under Coach Keith Wakefield and earned All-Federal League honors…finished his prep career with 18 sacks and 25 tackles for loss…also an exceptional wrestler at Perry…was a three-time qualifier for the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state wrestling championship tournament…placed fifth in the 220-pound division as a senior in 2014, helping Perry to the Division I state title.
PERSONAL: Stefano Thomas Millin, born 9/23/95, is the son of Bruno and Lynda Millin…has one brother and one sister…earned his bachelor’s degree in public communications from Kent State and enrolled in Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
