Seth Arnold serves as a recruiting analyst for Pitt football.
Arnold was promoted to recruiting analyst in August 2025 after serving as a recruiting and player personnel assistant for the Panthers from December 2023 through the 2024 season. In his current role, he utilizes industry platforms such as Telemetry, HUDL, QuikCut, ARMS, XOs, JumpForward, ZCruit, PFF and the NCAA Eligibility Center to conduct comprehensive evaluations of high school and transfer portal prospects. He assists coaches with on-the-road recruiting logistics, maintains recruiting boards, evaluates transcripts for NCAA eligibility and helps coordinate official, unofficial and game-day visits.
During his time as a recruiting and player personnel assistant, Arnold supported prospect evaluations, assisted with campus visits and summer camps, and contributed to recruiting studies and analytical projects related to both high school and transfer portal recruiting.
Prior to arriving at Pitt, Arnold served as a student operations assistant in the athletic department at Potomac State College (2021–22), where he recorded games and practices, maintained statistical data and assisted with digital and social media content. A former junior college baseball player at Potomac State, Arnold later transferred to the University of Pittsburgh, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Criminal Justice and Society in May 2025.
