Karter Tow enters his first season as the football sports nutrition fellow for Pitt football in 2026.
Tow joins the Panthers after gaining hands-on performance nutrition experience at the professional and collegiate levels. Most recently, he supported training camp and preseason nutrition protocols with the Arizona Cardinals, assisting players with fueling strategies tied to weight-gain, maintenance and weight-loss goals, coordinating with chefs on dietary needs and allergens, and managing shake and inventory operations.
Tow previously worked with the Ohio State football program as well as Ohio State men’s and women’s basketball, assisting with pre- and post-workout fueling, sideline hydration support for football, supplement/vitamin tracking, inventory management, cooking demonstrations, menu planning, and hydration testing. He also served as an Ohio State Fuel Zone Leader (2023).
A Bluffton University graduate, Tow earned his Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics through Bluffton’s Integrated Master’s Internship (Aug. 2024–May 2025) after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition and Dietetics. He is ServSafe Manager Certified and CPR Certified.
