John Fisher enters his first season as a program graduate assistant at Pitt. In this capacity, Fisher serves in various administrative and operational functions for the Panthers.
Prior to his Pitt appointment, Fisher served at Temple during the 2022 season as a graduate assistant working with the Owls’ special teams.
Fisher was a defensive backs graduate assistant at Tiffin University in 2021.
During the 2020 season, he was a special teams intern at Minnesota working under Coach P.J. Fleck.
Fisher additionally was a defensive backs intern at Morehead State during the 2019 season. He worked with the defensive line at Waynesburg University in the spring of 2019.
Fisher is a 2018 graduate of West Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He was a football recruiting assistant for the Mountaineers as an undergraduate.
In addition to his college football experience, Fisher also worked in an NFL setting as a marketing intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
